Devon Venus Awards – Celebrating Working Women

The Venus Awards, also known as the “Working Women’s Oscars” launched their 2016 Devon campaign on the 17th May at Plymouth Science Park. This was the first part of the journey for our Director of Marketing, Leila Nottage. Little did she known that she was about to embark on a fantastic journey with an inspiring group of women! Last night was an incredible evening as Walter Combstock, Duke owner and Managing Director received the Lifetime Achievement at the Herald’s City and Waterfront Awards. We could not have been prouder! The black tie event celebrated so many fantastic businesses that make up our diverse and vibrant city and we were thrilled to be part of the celebrations. Plymouth Pavilions looked stunning and the atmosphere in the room was electric. Our table of 10 sat and enjoyed proceedings, whilst a few of us secretly knew what was to come.
