A Titanic Success at The Duke!

We were delighted to welcome around 2000 visitors to our exhibition of artefacts from the Titanic and the White Star Line company over Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This unique event was organised by local Titanic enthusiast Nigel Voisey and featured his own fascinating collection of items relating to the famous cruise ship. It even offered a rare chance to see a remnant from the Titanic wreck itself, on loan especially for this exhibition. Visitors came from far and wide, including Bristol, Wales and Kent. We proudly support many amazing charities year after year. Despite being inundated with countless charity requests, we always do our best to support as many as possible, we often donate vouchers as raffle prizes from our AA rosette restaurant, champagne Tea at the Top and in special circumstances an overnight stay! On top of this, we take part in charity events as a team. As well as boosting team moral it enables us to raise vital funds for so many worthy causes.
