Plymouth Remembers – Poppies on Tour

Poppies: Wave is a magnificent sculpture which currently stands proudly in front of the CWGC Plymouth Naval Memorial on Plymouth Hoe. The structure is made up of 7,300 ceramic red poppies on towering stalks and symbolises the servicemen and women of the First World War who sadly have no known grave. The piece is one of two sculptures created by designer, Tom Piper and artist, Paul Cummins and was taken from the Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red installation at The Tower of London. Wallflower Project

With one mural completed and four more to go, it’s going to make a wonderful trail around the city! We are proud to receive a second AA Rosette for Culinary Excellence, following a highly favourable inspection last month.
