Remembrance Sunday

The Lord Mayor, Councillor Pauline Murphy and her consort Councillor Brian Vincent will be joined by the Deputy Lieutenant of Devon for this year’s Remembrance Service on Plymouth Hoe. The Deputy Lord Mayor, Deputy Lord Mayor’s Consort, Council Leader and Council Chief Executive will also attend the service, which will remember all those who lost their lives in both World Wars and in all conflicts. A two-minute silence will take place at the Royal Naval Memorial at 11am. Last night was an incredible evening as Walter Combstock, Duke owner and Managing Director received the Lifetime Achievement at the Herald’s City and Waterfront Awards. We could not have been prouder! The black tie event celebrated so many fantastic businesses that make up our diverse and vibrant city and we were thrilled to be part of the celebrations.
