Make a Difference for Mayflower 400 has officially launched! With a front page headline in the Herald and our Ballroom full of like minded businesses, this new initiative got off to an excellent start. Just four and a half years' away in 2020, the city will host a major events calendar and welcome hoards of international visitors as we commemorate the 400th Anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower. Today is International Women's Day and the women who attend Women's Space in association with Shekinah, The Eddystone Trust and Trevi House, are celebrating in style with a cream tea here at The Duke. Women's Space is about inspiring, supporting and empowering women to have a voice and move forward into achieving their full potential. On Sunday 13th December magical memories were captured in our Ballroom as the team from Upon a Wish hosted their Princess Snowflake Ball.
