Keeping us Warm in the Winter Months
We love reading guest feedback and feel blessed to receive lots of wonderful reviews! Each year, we receive a wealth of cards, letters and emails of thanks following an event. Toni Sharpe, our Wedding Coordinator says:
“It is such a privilege to be involved in the planning of the biggest day of people lives, and it really is lovely to hear back from people following their weddings. From receiving a nice email to a beautiful card, every kind word is appreciated. To know we have delivered the day of their dreams is what fuels our team. We are all so passionate about delivering the highest level of service, so to hear that couples are happy is the icing on the cake!”.

We receive lots of online reviews through Facebook, Trip Advisor and Google + (to name a few!) which as well as praising the hotel, also offer valuable feedback, which we always take on board as we want to continue to provide first class service as Plymouth’s first luxury hotel.

Wedding Feedback
Dear Melanie,
I would just like to thank all the staff at the Duke of Cornwall for the profession service we received on our Wedding day. They organised everything from the time we arrived until the time we left the next day. Everyone commented on how lovely the food was and the service was excellent. They made our day very special and we would definitely recommend anyone to use this venue. The Duke of Cornwall should be very proud of their staffs dedication.

I would like you to know how much Liz and I appreciated the service we received on Thursday lunchtime. The function room was perfect for our needs, the food very good and much liked by our guests. However, our greatest thanks goes to David and his team who couldn’t do enough for us to make our wedding celebrations perfect. Thank you David. I certainly would not hesitate to recommend the Duke as a great location, for its service and helpfulness of the staff. Please ensure that those involved are aware of our sincere gratitude.

We would all like to thank you and everyone at the Duke for making our Ruby Party such a success, special thanks to the gent (sorry I’m forgetful with names) who took care of the food & helped throughout the evening with timings & being a great support to us.
We have been overjoyed with the response from family & friends and that is all we intended to do! We wanted to celebrate our 40 years with those who came to our wedding in 1976 that still are with us and those who have helped us along the years with their love and kindness!
Everyone said what a good evening they had and we certainly have lovely memories to keep!
