Feedback from 2018
“From the very first meeting with the hotel to the day after the wedding we were made to feel comfortable and like no job or task was any kind of effort. The staff who were working on the day of our wedding were incredible. They could not do enough for us and any request we had was met and met promptly. The day ran so smoothly and I feel that the staff on the day all had a helping hand in making the day so perfect”
“What an amazing wedding day all down to the help and assistance from The Duke of Cornwall. The day went as planned from the time we arrived to the time the last guest left. The staff could not do enough for you. The food was excellent our guests commented how lovely the food was and served hot. I would definitely recommend the Duke of Cornwall to anyone getting married. Congratulations to all the staff for providing a top notch service.”
“This place is amazing. From our wedding coordinators Toni and Mel helping us every step of the way to every single staff member on the day. Nothing was to much for anyone. The food was amazing and everyone complimented it. The venue itself is simply beautiful. The ball room looked so grand and our pictures are beautiful. I really can not put into words how fabulous the duke of Cornwall is and of course the amazing staff who worked so hard to make our day the best day! I do not have a single bad thing to say. Just amazing!!!”

“Excellent venue and very reasonably priced. Anything we asked for was provided readily. Staff were very friendly and efficient and nothing was a bother. Food was excellent and everybody commented on this. The ballroom was a great place to have our day because it was large, and has a hidden stage, which worked perfectly for our surprise mystery box game show at the start of the evening do. The hotel provided all the sound equipment for the speeches and evening entertainment. Room discounts were also provided for guests of the wedding party. Brilliant breakfast laid on in the morning. Overall a wonderful experience and made all the more so due to the staff and especially Toni Sharpe the wedding organiser.”
“The Duke of Cornwall (and Toni Sharpe in particular) ensured we had a wonderful wedding day and nothing was too much trouble for them. We only had an intimate ceremony (11 guests) but they provided a wonderfully modernly decorated room and arranged a pianist for us. They then provided an intimate drawing room for us to hold the wedding breakfast. We then had 100+ guests for the evening reception in the ballroom which they helped to stylishly decorate and provided superb food. We couldn’t have had a better day and that is largely down to Toni and the team at the Duke of Cornwall.”
“We had the most perfect wedding at The Duke of Cornwall Hotel. They listened to our requests and delivered brilliantly. My Husband and I also had our prom at this Hotel 12 years ago so it means a lot to us.”
A successful wedding day depends on bringing together an assortment of ingredients. With the Duke, you’re in safe hands. With experience, insight and passion, we can translate your vision for the day into a sublime celebration of your marriage.
