With just over two weeks until the Duke Wedding Collection: Live, we thought it was time to announce which of our lovely suppliers will be coming along. With over 45 of the very best in the business we thought we’d share a few each week in the build up to our big day! Keep an eye out for our upcoming blogs..! Here are the first fabulous ten…

Honors Flowers are a family run florist based in Hyde Park, Plymouth. They offer gorgeous designer bouquets, with the alternative of silk arrangements if the couple would prefer. They have a unique bridal consultation room where you can discuss all of the floral arrangements for your special day! They also have a range of items for hire including candelabras, bird cages and glassware to ensure that your day is as stress free as possible.

Antony Chapman is a professionally trained toastmaster who is employed by couples to ensure that the wedding party can relax and enjoy this memorable day without needing to worry about the order and timings of events. Antony is fully trained in Royal etiquette and offers a style of formality, creating a friendly atmosphere and ensuring that your special day unfolds as planned.

The Wedding Game brings a new concept to the table, with a personalised set of cards with questions about the couple for guests to answer. This game is sure to get the everyone involved and truly break the ice amongst guests who may not have met before. The cards can also act as a wedding favour, so can also save money too! Cut me off a Slice are an Ivybridge based company providing stunning cakes for any occasion! The business was started by two friends and the duo provide a bespoke service, with all designs able to be adapted to suit any colour scheme. They offer a variety of flavours and you can even choose a different flavour for each tier! They are multi award winning and we love them, take a read of our Supplier Blog post for even more about this amazing company.

The idea for The Lucky Sixpence came about in 2010, after Janie had scoured the shops and couldn’t find any hair accessories for her wedding day. She then set about designing herself a tiara, having loved making jewellery since she was young. The Lucky Sixpence offer a range of stunning pieces as well as a bespoke service. If you have an idea of a piece you would like, Janie can take inspiration from your dress or shoes, or possibly incorporate a cherished item that you may not want to wear as it is, but turn it into something you will love! They’re very special and we hope you pop along to say hello.

Chauffeur Driven Executive Cars offer a selection of vintage vehicles to transport you and your guests in style on your wedding day. They are an award winning company and are able to personalise your car with ribbons that match your colour scheme. You will also receive complimentary champagne and flowers with your booking… Check out their stunning cars which will be outside the hotel on the day.

Toby Lowe is a renowned photographer in Devon and Cornwall who specialises in beautiful reportage and bespoke fine art wedding photography. You may have heard us mention him a few times! He has featured in our Supplier Love and he recently captured all couples who were wed at the Duke, we first met Toby at the Collection last year and we all loved him. Toby loves to use natural colours and light and believes in a discreet and sensitive approach to wedding photography. He works closely with the couple before the wedding day to gain an in depth idea of what they are looking for. Toby strives to create a seamless document of the day which details the story behind the wedding and the relationships between everyone attending. He’s rather fabulous and will be sharing his work on the stair case for you to enjoy.

Fabulash Hair and Beauty is run by Emily, a hair and eyelash extension specialist in Plymouth. Emily can offer hair and make-up for brides on their big day to ensure they feel their best. She says that the favourite part of her job is seeing the smile on her clients faces when they see their new look. Also on offer is a range of other treatments including spray tans, waxing and threading.

Dan Brazier specialises in close up magic and we believe he is the best in Devon! Dan will wow your guests and keep them entertained for as long as you’d like – maybe during the drinks reception or when you’re having photographs taken. It is also a great way to break the ice and get guests talking to each other! Dan is the preferred magician of over 100 venues nationwide, so ensure you book in plenty of time! He’ll be here impressing our guests so you’ll get to see him in action!

Black Friars distillery on the Barbican has been home to Plymouth Gin since 1793, making it the oldest working gin distillery in England. They have won a wide variety of awards and have been distilling their original gin using the same blend of seven exotic botanicals, soft Dartmoor water and pure grain alcohol since they opened. It is the best and we are thrilled that you’ll be enjoying a complimentary G&T on arrival.
