Bonfire Night

We love Bonfire Night here at the hotel. Each year, guests head to Plymouth Hoe this Bonfire Night for an evening of fairground rides, fireworks and most importantly the bonfire. The atmosphere is always amazing, with people of all ages wrapped up warm waiting for the bonfire to be lit. Lights from the fairground rides reflect on Plymouth Sound and are visible for miles around. A variety of food vendors offer plenty of choice with a variety of cuisines to choose from. This is a favourite amongst many residents and visitors alike, with many travelling to Britain’s Ocean City for the occasion.

Celebrations will begin at 4.00 pm, with Radio Plymouth hosting entertainment on the stage from 6.30 pm onwards.

6pm – The Sound Council on the stage
6.20pm – Street Factory performance on the stage
6.40pm – Legacy Choir performance on the stage
7pm – Plymouth Performing Arts Academy and Stonehouse Community Voices performance on the stage
7.30pm – Chay Snowdon on the stage
7.30 pm – Bonfire to be lit by Smeaton’s Tower
8.00 pm – Firework show at the Citadel
8.15pm – The Busketeers performance on the stage
9.00 pm – Evening to conclude
