Good Food and Craft Market

5th August, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

We love attending the Royal William Yard Good Food and Craft Market on the first Sunday of each month. It is always a great day out for all the family with plenty to see, do and taste! Located in beautiful surroundings, this event combines fantastic fresh produce and crafts from local traders. For full details including how to visit the yard by bus, bike or ferry, click here.

The following event details were provided by Visit Plymouth. To celebrate the start of the school holidays our playful Giant Squid will be joined by some nautical themed vertical dancers who have come to play on the wall of our secret garden. See our magical mermaid joined by a shoal of fish swimming around her as they explore the mythical deep blue sea that our giant squid once called home. Supported by underwater music to submerge spectators into this mesmerising performance.

Performances from the secret garden wall by Firestone Bay at 11.00, 12.15, 13.15 and 14.30. Choreography by David Greeves of Yskynna (yer-skin-ah) Cornish verb ‘to ascend. Performed by Yskynna Vertical Dance and Italia Conti (Choreography by Kerri Jackson) Music: November by Max Richter.

The above images were provided by the team at Onshore Media and provide a flavour of the event.

The Duke is perfectly situated a short walk from the yard and encourage our guests to visit. If you are planning a trip to Plymouth, be sure to contact our team on 01752 275850 to obtain the best accommodation rate.
