Moonlit Cycle

10th June, 2017

The following event information was provided by the organisers. For full details, including a map of the route and sign up details, please click here.

The Moonlit Cycle is a charity event organised and run for the sole benefit of St Luke’s Hospice by local firm of Independent Financial Advisers Tom French and Associates.

Back for 2017, this is your chance to join hundreds of road cyclists, riding from sunset through to the moonlit hours, as you take on the 50km or 100km cycle along South East Cornwall’s iconic coast. Costing only £25 with proceeds going to St Luke’s Hospice. Enter individually or why not get a team together? However you enter, please support us.

Who is the event for?

The event is ideal for anyone with a bike, a set of lights and the adventurous spirit to head out into the unknown.

The short route caters for cyclists of all abilities and all types of bike with plenty of support around the course and a midway feed station with hot food and drink.

The longer course heads out into the night with periods of being alone in the narrow beam of your lights. With 1664m amount of climbing and another feed-station in Dobwalls it is one for the adventurous cyclist who knows they can confidently cycle 100km but wants that unique night ride experience in a supported environment.
