Remember, Remember the 5th November!

5th November, 2017 @ 4:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Each year, thousands of people head up to Plymouth Hoe for Bonfire Night. For those of you who have not been before, here is an idea of what you can expect!

The lights from the fair ground rides on the Hoe can be seen for miles around, creating an exciting atmosphere with lots of happy faces. The smell of candy floss and hot dogs fills the air, which coupled with live entertainment gets the party started! As the night draws in, everyone is huddled around with coats zipped up, scarves and wooly hats on.

Small children sit on their parents shoulders to see over the crowds and ensure they have the best view of the Bonfire and then later on, the spectacular fireworks! From previous years we know that the sky will light up with every colour, we love watching the reflection on the waters of the historic Plymouth Sound!

We simply love the image on this year’s poster, here is another stunning photo taken by the talented Jeff O’Keeffe Tomkins of One Plymouth.
