Dartmoor Zoo has been plagued with the deadly Halloween virus yet again…bringing you our 6th year of Boo at the Zoo!! This is set to be our biggest event yet, with lots frightful goodies lined up over the space of two days. You choose the date…we’ll bring the horrors.

We have the following tricks and treats lined up for the evening;

Deadly Disco: Show us your best dance moves and groove to the freaky music our DJ Padi Finn, has prepared for you
Creepy Close Encounters: Get up close and personal with our creepiest of crawlies and reptiles

Scary night trail: Our most popular Halloween activity yet, put your fears to the test and see how brave you truly are when embarking on this night time trail through the zoo. (Beware, not for those of a nervous disposition) NEW FOR 2016: Our trail has extended!! Put your fears to the test, and embark deep into the centre of the park..Surrounded by our fearsome carnivores. Have you got what it takes to be a top performing witch/wizard? Try out you wand wielding with ur DZP sorcerer in the NEW Wand Wielding Workshop.

Fantasy Facepainter: Reveal your inner monsters by visiting our facepainter on the evening!

Crafty Creations: Located in the middle of the park, a sheltered area for those brave trail survivors to rest up and create magical creatures, solve puzzles and get crafty.

Fancy dress competitions for adults and children, with prizes to be won.

Ghost Hunters Trail: Help our Ghosthunter find the clues scattered around the park to conclude their investigation! Find him deep in our Park, sheltered away and listen for their exciting ghoststories.

Plus many more surprise activities to occur during the night!
