Discover the secrets of artisan bread making on a Column Baker short course and gain the skills and confidence you need to recreate award- winning loaves from the comfort of your own kitchen.

Column Baker courses are delivered by their expert Head Baker who will guide you through the process step by step.

We have partnered with Column Bake House to offer accommodation to those attending the course. You and a friend can attend the course and stay at The Duke for a night with breakfast included for just £230! The course will involve making a range of festive breads including Stollen, Pannetone and Brioche. Refreshments including mulled wine and mince pies will be included.

In this Festive Breads course, you’ll receive expert tuition from our Artisan Baker who is expert in making a range of tasty fresh loaves. You’ll learn how to bake festive loaves in this small group and take home your own handcrafted Christmas loaf at the end of the session, as well as a handy recipe card! The course price includes all of your ingredients and use of our professional equipment. We will also give you some tasty refreshments from the Bakehouse and a glass of wine!
