Half Term Watersports Activities

Great value fun this half Term! Be an active part Britain’s Ocean City by learning new skills in one of the country’s most historic and beautiful ports. Based near the Iconic Mayflower steps, our qualified Instructors will put you through a week of practical skill development and help you gain the knowledge to underpin the skills required to enjoy time on the water safely and with confidence. Learning the basics of how to sail both crewed and singled handed Dinghies. This exhilarating Olympic sport could take you into the world of racing and also presents opportunities for exploring the surround coves and beaches, all powered by mother nature.

An introduction to powerboating techniques used in the coastal environment, everyday boat handling and the use of the safety equipment on board. This is the start of your journey in the vast world of paddlesports. You will develop the skills needed to access Canoeing, Sea & White Water Kayaking, or even Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP). Focusing on the body, boat, blade philosophy you will hone in on the techniques required to control a variety of craft. Upon successful completion of the days and reaching the required standard you will be issued a qualification recording your achievements.

Open to young people aged 8-18 all you need to bring is a towel & a positive mind-set. We can provide all the personal safety equipment required, wet weather jackets/Trousers, Wetsuit, Buoyancy Aids, Wet boots (Although most or more comfortable bring their own foot wear, just be prepared for it to get wet). To ensure quality of learning limited places are available so please get in touch to book your place. The activity for the day is weather dependent. 10% off for additional siblings £160 for the week £40 per day.
