Santa Run

Sunday 4th December 2016
From: 11:00 am

This Sunday (4th December), hundreds of participants will make their way to the centre of Plymouth to take part in the annual Santa run which has now been running for six years! Passers by will witness a flash of red as people of all abilities (including a team from the Duke who will of course be walking!) dress up as Father Christmas to raise money for local charities.

The following information was provided by the Visit Plymouth website.

Dress up as Santa and run through the City Centre for charity. For the 6th consecutive year the Saltram Rotary Club are hosting the Santa Fun Run, helping to raise funds for Dame Hannah Rogers Trust and Jeremiah’s Journey.

Taking place on Sunday 6 December at 11am hundreds of Santa’s will run, jog and walk from the entrance of Drake Circus Shopping Centre on Cornwall Street in either a 4km or 2.5km loop.

Take part in this run and receive your own Santa costume and finisher’s medal.

The entry fee is £12.50 for adults and £7.50 for children aged 6-16 years and participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship.
