We are pleased to announce the 2015 season of international operations at the Plym Valley Railway. Commending on Sunday 6th December, they launch their North Pole Express with 33 train rides ‘The North Pole’ on various dates on the run up to Christmas. All trains are due to be hauled by their resident steam locomotive ‘Albert’.
Once passports (your tickets to travel) have been collected it is time to board the musical three carriage train and depart northwards to ‘The North Pole’! Sit back in your seat and relax as you meet a jolly festive figure with a gift which will be given to all paying children. Due to the steam engine’s immense power and with a hint of magic, the journey to ‘The North Pole’ takes just 15 minutes. Upon arrival there will be an opportunity to have a photo with Santa Claus in the ‘Arctic’ before returning to Marsh Mills.
