Pig Racing Networking Event

Friday 18th November 2016
From: 5:30 pm - Til: 8:30 pm

The Holiday Inn are offering a lighthearted evening of entertainment and networking at this Pig Racing event to raise funds for St Lukes, an amazing local charity. Below is information we found on the Eventbrite page where you can also book tickets to attend.

Pig Racing? – Say What?

Yes. that’s right – we said Pig Racing!

Don’t worry if you’re allergic to ham as no live piggies will be involved!

It’s just a fun evening to try and raise funds with like-minded networkers in aid of local charity, St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth.

There is no dress code but feel free to go all out and join us in your piggiest farmers outfit – best outfit wins a prize…!
There will be a bar available and canapes will be served so you really can relax at this informal networking event.

How Does it Work?

Our very, very entertaining host, Adrian Byng, will be joining us to run the races.

You don’t have to gamble but if you want to join in with betting you will be given the opportunity to bet on a pig for £1 or more per race.

There will be several races after which the pigs will be auctioned off for the final race and the owner of the winning pig takes all of the auction proceeds.

We really hope you can make it as it is great fun for a good cause and you never know – you might win some money!

The Duke of Cornwall Hotel is committed to the environment and our sustainability, we are members of Green Tourism and encourage all of our guests and staff to join our journey.
