As a patron of the Devon Chamber of Commerce, we were honoured to hold their annual Award ceremony at the Duke last month. The Ballroom and Restaurant were transformed into Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory, with chocolate fountains, lollipop centrepieces and Willy Wonka himself! The room was lit beautifully with atmospheric purple lighting adding the finishing touch. It was fantastic to welcome Jonty Depp as Willy Wonka, who entertained the crowds for the evening and posed for photos with attendees. Hepburn Inspired Glamour at the Duke!

On Sunday, we welcomed over 45 fabulous suppliers to The Duke Wedding Collection: Live! At midday, the doors opened to a queue of excited couples, along with their family and friends, the atmosphere was electric as crowds of people filled the hotel. Pantomime Launch at The Duke!

We love working with the Theatre Royal Plymouth and felt honoured that they chose us for the set of their Snow White and the Seven Dwarves Pantomime Launch! The cast of the show came along and posed for photos on our grand staircase and in some of our stunning bedrooms. We love all of the photographs taken from the shoot, but in particular the image where Snow White is lay on one of our grand half tester beds with pink floral bed linen. We love the Seafood Festival, Plymouth has an incredible annual calendar and this is one of our favourites! With the Plymouth Art Weekender, the Seafood Festival and our wonderful Wedding Collection, Plymouth is the place to be! Plymouth Seafood Festival arrives this weekend for its 5th year and is set to bring The Barbican and Sutton Harbour alive with entertainment, activities and dishes to celebrate the city’s fantastic caught seafood. Live Concert Series: Alice Vickery
